Convenience is Key for the Manning’s

David and Bertha Manning are no strangers to the Glen Burnie area. Frustrated with the service at the apartment complex they had been living in, when the Manning’s drove by The Islands of FoxChase and liked what they saw, the rest was history. They love the beauty of FoxChase and the convenience to their favorite shopping and restaurants – but most importantly, they love being so close to their four children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bertha is a retired Safeway manager, while David, also recently retired, worked for 40 years with computers for Westinghouse. Now they live a carefree life at FoxChase where all their maintenance is taken care of. However, the most comforting thing about FoxChase for the Manning’s is that it is safe; a quiet environment with no traffic or strangers.

The couple attends the holiday parties that FoxChase throws, and when they are not here they like to go to the movies, visit bookstores or go shopping.
