At the epicenter of all things social at The Islands of FoxChase is the apartment of Lucy Boudris. The vivacious blonde instantly attracts friends and is the "go to" person if residents need advice from someone in the know.
Originally from Kentucky, Boudris came north to Millersville, Maryland, 26 years ago to visit family, liked the area and never left. When it came time to make changes in her life Lucy says, "This is the only place I wanted to move. I used to live just five minutes from here and didn't look anywhere else, not even Annapolis."
"I can close my door and be by myself or open the door, walk a few feet and have instant companionship," says Boudris, who organized the community's first Bunco game in the FoxChase club house last December, which quickly became a favorite amongst residents. Boudris also makes full use of the state-of-the-art FoxChase fitness center.
Boudris even hosted seminars on skin-care, beauty and wellness advice in conjunction with Arbonne International this past spring and summer. Co-sponsored by The Islands of FoxChase, the summer event benefited the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Boudris started as an independent consultant for Arbonne and was so successful the company named her a district manager.
